New Local Business Signups for CouponShack Local

More new features for Coupon Shack Local continue to roll out every day. Right now, our main focus is rolling out great features for the business side. The latest feature to roll out is the listing completion page. You will see this page once you have added your business listing and posted your first coupon. Here is a break down of what this page is all about.

At the top of the page will be two options to Tweet or Facebook your new business listing. This helps get the word out. Just click on each link and you'll be able to update your Twitter or Facebook profiles with your new business listing. You can even customize your own message to go along with the status update.

Why is this important? You're building off your existing business relationships. Encourage them to rate your business and leave reviews. Local businesses with higher ratings will get preferential treatment in the search results for each zip code search. Promote your business listing on Coupon Shack Local, get high ratings, and you'll attract more new customers. Simple enough?

A third part of the business confirmation page is a link to verify your business. It's a simple snippet of code that you place on your website, which shows up as a small badge stating that you are listed on Coupon Shack Local. We'll verify that it is there and when confirmed you'll get a "Verified" badge next to your business listing on Coupon Shack Local. This will help your listing stand out more.

The fourth and final (for now) part of the business confirmation page is a link to add more coupons. You can add as many as you like so if you have another coupon to add for your business then by all means please do so!
