Re-Design for CouponShack Local

More exciting changes have been rolled out for CouponShack Local! There's a new look too. We're excited because this new design is cleaner and easier to use. I wanted to highlight a few of the other changes to CouponShack Local as well.

First, you'll notice that the business descriptions are now shown on the business location pages. Here's a tip. There is a 200 character display limit. You can write a longer description but only the first 200 characters will be displayed. Users will have to click the link to view more to read the rest of the description. This is your first opportunity to capture the customer so may the first 200 characters great.

Next, business hours are now displayed. If you have not done so please go back and edit your business information to display your business hours. Once entered you'll see them displayed next to the phone number under your business contact information.



A third upgrade is an improved rating system. When customers rate your company you'll see the star rating displayed in a graphical format. It's more eye catching and easier to understand than the previous numerical format. Customers can also read and post comments about your business directly on the business location page. Keep your customers happy and encourage them to leave comments.

Finally, social links are now visible on the business location page. Be sure to add your Facebook URL for your business as well as your Twitter ID. And if you have a website, enter that as well. These links will be displayed with icons for each. Customers can then easily follow your business on the web and in the social networks.
