Bernardo is a maker of fancy women’s footwear that has been in operation since 1947. They have two lines of footwear: Bernardo by Bernardo and the more moderately priced B2 by Bernardo. The Bernardo line covers sandals, shearlings, ballet shoes, wedge shoes and contemporary mocs, with most of the shoes executed in bright metallic colors or a semi-metallic pattern and ranging around the $90 to $150 price range, mostly staying in the upper half of that. The B2 line consists of a smaller selection of boots and flats, offered for more modest prices, with the boots at about $150 and the shoes at a mere $60 or so. The B2 Fall ’07 collection is currently available for pre-order on the main site.
