The L.A. County Fair goes all the way back to 1922. Today the L.A. County Fair is located in Pomona, California, which is just east of Los Angeles. It's the largest county fair in the United States with well over 1 million visitors each year. Aside from the typical things you find at a county fair, there's also musical entertainment, a demolition derby, and freestyle motocross. Just be sure to check the calendar for all of the special events going on at the L.A. County Fair.

Tip: Come to the fair after 5 pm and you can get tickets for just $5 per person. Two other places to check for either coupons or discounted tickets to the L.A. County Fair are McDonalds and Ralph's Grocery.
