Electronics > Batteries Coupons

The battery has been around since the 1800s when Alessandro Volta first invented the battery. Of course it did not become a common household source of power until the last 20-30 years though. One of the main reasons for such an increase in popularity is the advancement of technology to store more energy in smaller containers. Batteries continue to get smaller and the stored energy continues to get bigger and bigger.

These new batteries, however, can be very expensive. This is especially true for the high capacity and specialty batteries. If you need peak performance though, it sure is worth it to go with the higher capacity batteries. They not only hold a higher quality charge, but they also last quite a bit longer.

Another type of battery is the rechargeable battery. With the newer technology, the cost of rechargeable batteries has gone down considerably. In fact, it's cheaper to go with rechargeable batteries over the long haul then it is to purchase disposable batteries. It takes more of an investment up front but the savings is well worth it. Here are a few tips to help you save even more on your next battery purchase.
Coupon Tips for Batteries
  1. If you are purchasing with printable coupons or with coupons that you clipped from your Sunday paper, try to apply them on the smallest packages of batteries. This will actually yield more savings per battery than purchasing the larger packs.
  2. Check out the online battery stores. Many of them offer coupons for purchases. You can apply these coupons for some pretty significant savings on batteries, especially on larger purchases.
  3. Speaking of larger purchases, look for deals on bulk packages of batteries. Then apply your coupon to this and stack the coupon on top of the existing discount for maximum savings.
  4. This may seem like a no brainer but it is often overlooked. Check the battery manufacturer's website and Facebook pages. They often run their own coupons and you can print your coupons straight from their site.
  5. Batteries can be expensive to ship. You can often find free shipping promotions so long as you meet the order minimum. On top of that you can usually stack a coupon with it and save even more.
