Cuddledown is a family owned business committed to making sensible products. We started in 1973 by making just one product: down comforters. At that time we sold our special down comforters directly to our friends. Those were the days of high oil prices and down comforters were "new" product that let people in New England turn down the heat at night. Soon we discovered that sleeping under a down comforter was a centuries-old European tradition; slumber under a soft and light "puff" with luxurious comfort that made getting out of bed in the morning a new challenge.
Well, our friends liked our Cuddledown down comforters so much that we thought people in other parts of the country might enjoy them too, so we took out advertisements in magazines and our catalog was born. Then we opened a small shop in Yarmouth, Maine and used it as the base for growing the catalog.
Every year we continue our worldly travels to select the finest down proof fabrics and the most luxurious down available. We've found a wealth of fabrics and home fashions that just don't exist in The United States, and we are pleased to be able to offer them to you.
We continue to research the endless possibilities through our down and fabric vendors to develop a collection of down and down/feather amenities with the emphasis on quality. What makes Cuddledown down comforters, down pillows, and featherbeds so special?
Each of our down filled products is made in our manufacturing facility in Portland, Maine, using the finest down and fabric materials available. Every step of the process is completed with detailed care and the quality checked to assure that only the finest product is produced for our customers. At Cuddledown we work with the raw materials and quality check the entire manufacturing process, so you can rest assured that your down comforter, down pillow, and featherbed will perform to our highest standards -- exceeding your expectations. Shipping
- In stock merchandise is shipped via UPS within two days. You will be notified by mail of any delay.
- All delivery times (except Sat. delivery) include business days only (M-F).
- Be sure to include your exact street address.
- Include your telephone number so that we can contact you if necessary.
- Standard Shipping, Packing & Handling method and rate available only for delivery within the Continental US and Canada
- Shipping cut-off is 1:30 PM EST. Orders received after this time will be processed the following business day.
- Standard shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is Priority Mail USPS 7-10 days. (For faster delivery, please select 2nd Day Air.)
- Discounted shipping promotions can only be applied to orders shipped within the Continental US and Canada.

If you have lost your packing slip, Include a letter/note of instructions with your name and address stating whether you want an exchange, credit or refund.
