Your older son came in, tired and dirty, after mowing the lawn. Your younger son, who is not yet ready to walk, was doing his best in wrecking the play pen and keeping his mother nervous at the kitchen. The dishwasher was loud and she’s wiping the countertop. It never felt this right to hit the RSVP button. You just bought your family a well-deserved, all-inclusive vacation package deal at the Beaches Sandy Bay. You announced the family vacation and you were pleased at the way that their faces lit up. Even the baby made a happy gurgling sound. But the best is yet to come.
The vacation at Beaches Sandy Bay included roundtrip airport transfers, which made many things convenient for your family. You were brought to a special town in Jamaica, called Negril, which is known for its tranquil sea, wonderful beaches, and exotic flora. In fact, at the Beaches Sandy, there are 7 miles of inviting, soft white sand that allows you and your family to enjoy and relax. There are various water sports that your older son can enjoy, such as the water skiing, wind surfing, snorkeling, and kayaking. Everything you need, ranging from scuba equipment to open bar drinks, is included in your vacation package. You even plan on taking your wife on a sailboat against the teal waters.
You also booked a 2-bedroom suite that has an open view of the breathtaking ocean. As you stood at the patio, you felt a humbling kind of peace and contentment. Normally, bringing a baby along in a vacation can be difficult, but not in this particular vacation package deal. The friendly butler, who is assigned to cater to all your needs, informed you that the package deal included an “Ultra Nanny” service and nursery. The little one will be treated like a young prince. The older son, after trying out the water sports, can also join a kids’ camp, spend hours at the Xbox Game Oasis, or watch the entertainment of Sesame Street theater right on the beach! He can also join you as you try your hand at billiards, table tennis, and lawn chess…or scuba diving and championship golf.
And so your family vacation officially begins. You spent a couple of hours at the beach, simply enjoying the teal waves and powdery soft sand. Then you took a break by drinking one of the exotic tropical concoctions – all while leaving your wallet in your room because the vacation package is completely all-inclusive. And then you attempted teaching your baby how to swim, while your wife tanned and enjoyed freshly squeezed tropical drinks against the soft sandy shore.
Later, you planned on taking your family to a gourmet restaurant. “This is a good life,” as you mentally pat your shoulders and prepared for dinner. Your younger son is sleeping soundly. Your wife, who is at the kitchenette but not doing any housework, looked up and smiled at you. The suite’s door opened and your older son came in, dirty with sand. “What happened?” He smiled. “The beach is so cool Dad. You are the greatest!”
