With the glittering waters of the Caribbean Sea laid before you across Negril’s Seven-Mile Beach, you know that you can’t go wrong by taking her on this vacation getaway. This vacation is not an impulsive decision. It is a campaign. You’ve taken a vacation package deal at the Couples Swept Away in order to make her realize that there is more to you than being a responsible and analytical man. Of course, there is nothing with being responsible and analytical. But she says that she wants someone romantic. And that is what she will get these days: romance. And based on your trusted analysis, there are very few places that can be more romantic than this resort called the Couples Swept Away.
The name itself, “swept away,” describes your overall plan with her. You will sweep her off her feet. You will surround her world with romance until she realizes that you are the perfect man for her, the man that she has been waiting for all her life. “Wow,” she gasped, “if paradise is really a place, then this is it.” You were secretly pleased. The resort has lavishly adorned the place with prolific flowering gardens. The view of the Jamaican landscapes is breathtaking. And the whispers of the breeze sang in harmony with the murmurs of the waves. Your campaign is going well.
She was equally impressed with the accommodations. But you didn’t want to admit that choosing this particular suite was actually a challenge. All the Caribbean-style suites in this resort are simply luxurious. Some have verandas and all have the amenities of the best hotels in Jamaica. Some provide a view of the tropical gardens and others have a view of the sparkling ocean. Your analytic personality rescued you and you made a list of all amenities and finally ended up choosing the Great House Jacuzzi Suite. She asked why you chose this particular suite. Your mind raced for a romantic answer: “I thought you’d love relaxing on the chaise lounge at the exterior verandah.” She smiled.
Aside from an unlimited access to the 10-acre sports and fitness complex, the vacation package deal at the Couples Swept Away also entitles you to engage in various water sports, including scuba diving. You can also bring her on one or both fun tours offered by the resort: the Glass-bottom boat tour and the Catamaran Cruise. She asked: “Why are we taking the tour and not learn scuba diving?” Your automatic answer would be: “because it keeps us breathing air directly from the atmosphere.” But you stopped yourself in time. Instead you said: “because I want to watch your beautiful eyes as I hold your hand.” She smiled again.
For your breakfast, you have a choice between the Patois Patio, which offers a la carte breakfast, and The Palms which serves a continental one together with fresh tropical fruits. You chose the latter because she’ll love the view of the ocean. For lunch, you have three excellent choices, the Sea Grape Café, the Cabana Grill, and The Palms. All of them serve sumptuous meals and you promised her that you will dine in all of them. And for dinner, you have four enticing choices, which are The Palms, the Lemon Grass, the Feathers, and the Patois Patio. Again, you made the same promise to delight in the culinary treasures and romantic ambiance of your vacation package.
Then you brought her to the Spa because you believe that she will appreciate the relaxing and indulgent ambiance of the spa. You told her that she is a woman that must be cherished and pampered. “But why are you doing all this?” Isn’t the answer obvious? Exasperated, you answered: please stop asking questions because I’m running out of romantic answers.” She laughed. “You are romantic, as is this entire experience.”
